Nickel-and-dimed by Intel: VROC's physical license key
Intel VROC, or Virtual RAID on CPU, is a RAID controller on the CPU, which makes sense for nvme SSDs connected directly to the CPU via PCIe lanes.
What doesn't make sense, is that you buy the server, which has the Intel CPU with the controller, but you have to buy the license key extra. Wtf 😒
